Our Story
How it all started
It started with a simple, frustrating observation. Finding flexible work when you needed it was entirely too difficult, and for businesses, hiring reliable help on short notice felt almost impossible.
We noticed that countless talented individuals had spare time they wanted to monetize, but no structured, trustworthy way to connect with the businesses that needed them. Traditional job boards were too slow, and social media groups were chaotic and unverified.
"We realized the gap was not a lack of talent or a lack of jobs - it was a lack of a unified, trusted system to connect the two instantly."
That is why we built CamGig. We set out to create a dual marketplace that seamlessly bridges the gap between gig work and long-term employment. By unifying hiring into a single, mobile-first platform, we built an ecosystem where workers can build reputation across short-term tasks and businesses can scale their teams confidently.

Yuya Kiri
Product Owner
Defines the product vision and long-term direction of CamGig, ensuring the platform grows with clear purpose and strong alignment to user needs and business goals. Yuya Kiri is a software engineer at Kobe Digital Labo Inc. in Japan and serves as the Product Owner of CamGig. The service was born from a collaborative project with Kirirom Institute of Technology, bringing together ideas from Japan and Cambodia. He focuses on building a practical and meaningful platform that connects job seekers and employers with new opportunities.
Vanny Sothea
Development Lead
Leads the development of CamGig, responsible for both technical execution and overall platform direction. Plays a key role in making strategic decisions across product, technology, and business growth, ensuring the platform is built in alignment with its long-term vision and mission. Vanny Sothea is a software engineer and the CEO of Coorad, where he oversees engineering, product development, and strategic growth. He is focused on building scalable, high-impact digital solutions, with a strong emphasis on aligning technology with business objectives to deliver sustainable value.
Liya Moth
Marketing Lead
Leads digital marketing strategy for CamGig, driving brand growth, market positioning, and employer acquisition. She oversees integrated marketing initiatives across social media, content, and community engagement, ensuring alignment with the platform’s long-term vision and growth objectives. She identifies market opportunities, builds strategic partnerships with companies and HR leaders, and continuously analyzes recruitment trends to ensure marketing efforts are data-driven and impactful, supporting CamGig’s mission to connect the right talent with the right opportunities across Cambodia.
